Royal Republiq
New classics

Danish shoe and accessories producer Royal Republiq defines the style of its young label as “new classics”. The company was founded by Nicolas Kjaer in Copenhagen in 2006. Specialising in furniture design and high-quality leather products the company then started producing extraordinary leather belts for denim pants. These belts are at times chunky and at others sophisticated. Soon bags, purses and bracelets were added to the line and since 2007 it has also included men’s shoes.

The purist design focuses on a denim feel and a sophisticated vintage look; the fit is superb and manufacturing follows traditional shoemaking principles. Royal Republiq currently supplies approx. 20 countries in Western and Northern Europe plus Japan, the most important market being Scandinavia.
